About Rob

Hi, my name is Rob Diorio and I am currently a junior (‘19) at Staples High School. I am a strong advocate for youth sports, as I have made many memories and friends participating in the Westport youth sports leagues. I vividly remember playing sports like basketball, tennis, and soccer as a kid. The one that really stuck with me though, is soccer.

I have been playing soccer since I was 2 years old. Ever since then, I have had a strong passion and love for the sport. I started with the Westport travel soccer team. From there, I have also played for Dutch Total Soccer (DTS) and Shoreline FC. Currently, I am playing for the Staples boys varsity soccer team and the Everton America club team. I believe that I have the necessary skills and experience to be able to share my passion of soccer with kids looking to get better or enjoy the sport more.

Outside of school and soccer, I usually babysit, volunteer as a local EMT, and look after my younger sister.

I look forward to being able to teach soccer to youth players in a comfortable one on one setting!
